What Makes Clear Housing Different?
Clear Housing was founded in 2015 to meet the housing and support needs of refugees and homeless people with substance abuse issues in Birmingham and regionally. Clear Housing recognises the importance of providing culturally sensitive services for Refugee people.
Clear Housing sees itself as part of a network of local organisations with a commitment to developing and managing good quality housing support within Birmingham and the surrounding areas and has created a long term strategic relationship with registered social landlords and other private landlords to provide housing support or accommodation to our service users.
Supported Housing Services
Clear Housing is aware of the great range and diversity of support needs within the Refugee community, refugees and the wider BME community in Birmingham. The Organisation is seeking to explore ways in which the Local Area Agreement arrangements can be fostered to enable a more robust community cohesion and achieve a more sustainable community wellbeing, providing more housing support services to people who need them, irrespective of their tenure arrangements.
Clear Housing Staff
The staff team is Clear Housing’s key asset and resource as can be evidenced by the high level of internal and external training that we have provided for them since the launch. The staff is both committed and competent. They recognise the importance of providing services in a culturally sensitive way.
Who Clear Housing Works With?
We are a not-for-profit organisation with over 20 years of experience in the supported housing sector. We deal with care leavers young offenders, homeless refugees and people with substance misuse issues.
We are a disability confident, equal opportunities employer and are registered with the data protection act. The accommodation we provide is shared for people in support needs.
Our properties are distributed all over the Birmingham region and we also work with third parties like St Basil’s, midland Heart homeless team and probation services.
