Clear Housing currently provides support based services to over 100 refugees. Clear Housing was born out of the experience of people whose cultural roots are outside the UK as such it is in an ideal position to continue to develop its work with people and groups who share that experience, whether they be people displaced, for example, by natural disaster or by war.

The Organisation believes that its experience, at individual level and as an organisation, of having a different cultural experience to that of the host population places it in a unique position to support people who are new to the UK whose culture and beliefs are distinctive. A practical example of this is the Organisation’s recruitment of workers from refugee communities whose remit is to work with the refugee communities in Birmingham.
